With Labour hosting its first conference since it won the election, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is the first Labour Leader to address the party faithful as Prime Minister in 15 years.
In a speech for both the party faithful and voters that trusted Labour for the first time in years, Starmer set out his vision for a mission-led government of service.
With Chancellor Rachel Reeves set to deliver her first budget in about 5 weeks' time, Keir Starmer's speech was light on specifics, but set out a golden thread for his government: politics of service for the British people.
With economic growth central to delivering change, Starmer reiterated the importance of planning reform and renewables to achieving this.
Public Policy specialist Verity Barton is joined by former Labour Minister and senior advisor Tom Harris, former Labour general election candidate and Head of Public Policy UK Kelly Edwards and energy specialist and Labour Councillor Ross Melton for their take live on the ground in Liverpool.
